I was at the MSPCA yesterday after work and no newfie. I have to say that the MSPCA is very diligent in scanning micro chips and checking for tatoos, tags etc.

tcundy July 29th, 2010, 08:12 AM Sighting in Pointe-Claire
We think that Phoebe was seen in Pointe-Claire yesterday. My sister called the town dispatcher to see if there had been any sightings and was told that an inspector had recently chased a big black dog around approximately 70 Lakeshore rd. (near the kayak/canoe launch site). The dog ran into the water and got away. This sounds a lot like Phoebe. She is a water dog through and through. We scouted the area for hours, but there was no sign of her.
If you happen to spot her please call 514 608 3245. We really want her back safe and sound.
Thanks
diandpat July 29th, 2010, 09:08 AM 450 510-1508 Centre Canin du Suroit...that is animal control for parts of the West Island. They are in Vaudreuil/Dorion
Hopefully you will be reunited soon :fingerscr
chico2 July 29th, 2010, 03:54 PM OMG how frustrating and heartbreaking:(hopefully we'll have some good news very soon:pray:
tcundy July 30th, 2010, 08:01 AM Phoebe was seen this morning lakeside of Lakeshore road (cross street Normandy). The woman tried to call her over, but Phoebe bolted into the water. She was then seen at Lakeshore and Lakeview in Baie D’Urfe. We think she is moving between Baie D’Urfe and Pointe-Claire and traveling at night or the early morning.
Please, please let us know if you see anything. Call at any time.
Thanks

chico2 July 30th, 2010, 03:55 PM She must be really hungry by now, what about putting out a trap in the area, maybe Humane Society would let you borrow one.
cpietra16 July 30th, 2010, 05:20 PM It's frustrating but good to know she is keeping to her route along Lakeshore. I will keep my eyes open as well. She obviously loves the water...is she a strong swimmer?
