I will be picking up my Balinese kitten in a few weeks and the breeder sends me pictures every week almost. She assures me that the kittens eyes are normal but I am a little worried that they are going to be crossed or something. Is it normal for young kittens to have kind of wall eyes? When I spoke for and put a deposit on the kitten I specifically mentioned several times I did not want the eyes to be crossed. I am going to try and attach a couple of pictures, please tell me if you think her eyes look normal. Thank you

My awww for the day! such a sweet kitty. Is she blue point? A bit hard from the pics to see as there isn't a direct head shot looking into the camera. To me in first pic her eyes look normal, in second pic her eyes don't look crossed but very very slightly walleyed, and the same with the third pic but it does give her a cute spacey look. Can breeder take one straight on looking into the camera? Just curious....do you not want crossed eyes because you will be showing her, or you just don't like the look at all? In my experience have not bred Siamese, so don't know if a slight walleye corrects itself later or not. Maybe you could pose this question on a Siamese forum and get an answer? Let us know what you find out as we're a curious bunch here. :cat:

Hi Thanks for answering yes she is a blue point. No I don't intend on showing her she is just going to be a pet. I guess I just don't like the look of wall or crossed eyes and I have also been told on other message boards that it could indicate bad breeding or health issues. I tried posting in the siamese forum but for some reason it wouldn't let me register.

Hi Catlover2 I finally got some responses from siamese and ragdoll breeders and they say this is perfectly normal for blue eyed kittens. I am glad I found out because I was worried. They told me it would disapear by the time she was 8 or 10 weeks old
