We're learning a new "trick"

September 8th, 2004, 09:12 AM
It just started yesterday:

I was sitting on the couch, watching the Amazing Race (of course) when my little angel started looking at me with big eyes. I've learned to recognize that it means she wants something. She's pretty good at telling me what it is, so I started the routine. "You want water?" - nothing "You want to eat" - nothing "You want outside?" - jumping and barking. Then came the "trick"... she grabbed my hand, gently, but enough to try and pull me to the back door. Is that cool or what????

I knew she was smart, but I had no idea she was that smart! She's only 7 months old tomorrow....and she can do this?? Proud mama :D :D :D :D

I'm going to keep working on it tonight when I get home from work. WOOHOO! :D

Woo what a smartie pants!!! I think animals love to learn new things....especially when they see how pleased we are! (And you cat owners that goes for us too- mine know how to fetch!!!-just takes a whole lotta patience!)

And aren't the best tricks those ones they surprise you with! :D
