Luger (a three-legged black shepherd) was hiking with his mom and other dog buddies when he went missing at the end of April. They were on a trail in the Copper Canyon area of Chemainus. There have been searchers combing the area for the past weeks, but no luck so far.

Luger may have been spotted on Osbourne Bay Road / Maple Mountain Park / Richards Trail area, on the evening of May 10th. (This is the north Duncan/ Crofton area)
It's been 4 week now but we are still looking as there have been one sighting on a logging road very close to Panorama Ridge subdivision and 2 in Panorama Ridge. It's also very close to the Chemainus Lake park. I looks like Luger is hiding during the day and coming out in the evening and searching for food.
