Lost Cat - Burlington Ontario

May 3rd, 2010, 07:03 PM
Our cat named “Sebastian” went missing from the Verdi St. & Sharp St. (behind Walmart on Dundas and Appleby) area on Saturday May 1st. If anyone has any information at all about him please call us, we are really worried. He is an indoor cat and is probably really scared and under someone’s deck in their backyard. He comes to his name.

Please call with any information.

Please visit the shelters/spca/humane societies in your area daily & leave a poster with them, plaster the area with posters including the walmart parking lot, if they have a bulletin board inside the front door ask if you can put up one there too, as well as any other businesses in the area.

Leave his litterbox/bed/blanket and a worn but not washed article of your clothing ie t-shirt/smelly socks/shoes outside to help guide him by scent back home esp if he's never been outside before.

Go out at dawn/dusk with a flashlight to pick up the reflection from his eyes - don't forget to check under cars/porches/stairs/bushes. Take a can of cat food/his food dish - tap the top of the can/dish - tap it or rattle a bag of treats. Call his name/nickname softly so as not to scare him, my cats were all whistle trained - try that if he usually responds to it.

Ask all your neighbours if you can check in their sheds/garages/yards.
