My girlfriends cat escaped May 2nd in NDG (Montreal Quebec)

Sorry for the double post but my previous post does not seem to be working.

My girlfriends cat managed to escape from our place on Sunday May 2nd between 5pm and 9pm.
Near the corner of prud'homme and Sherbrooke in NDG.

The cat is a black and white long haired female, she weighs about 8lbs.

There are a few vet clinics as well as pet supply stores along Sherbrooke in your area. Please don't forget to get posters up in those places. You will also want to visit SPCA Montreal and Berger Blanc as often as possible to see if she was picked up and brought to either places.

Leave her litterbox/bed/blanket and a worn but not washed article of your/your gf's clothing ie t-shirt/smelly socks/shoes outside to help guide her by scent back home esp if she's never been outside before.

Go out at dawn/dusk with a flashlight to pick up the reflection from her eyes - don't forget to check under cars/porches/stairs/bushes. Take a can of cat food/her food dish - tap the top of the can/dish - tap it or rattle a bag of treats. Call her name/nickname softly so as not to scare her, my cats were all whistle trained - try that if she usually responds to it.

Ask all your neighbours if you can check in their sheds/garages/yards.
