BrownEyedGirl

I just wanted to say thank you for all that I have learned in the short time I've found this board. I've had my girl just over a year now (adopted from the shelter) and as I type this, I'm getting teary eyed at how much she has changed my sons and mine lives. She is a blessing that I didnt know we needed.
Even tho she needed us, she didn't know how much we needed HER.
I would have never in a million years said I was a cat person, but since we can't have another, my son and I will be volunteering at the shelter where we got her.
Anyway, thank you all, I've asked a few questions here and there, but I've learned so much from reading all of the discussions.

Isn't that always the case? They give us so much more than we give them.

I'll be happy when I get 100 posts.
I dont have any knowledge to contribute, I'm still in the learning stages.

Everyone has knowledge to contribute. Even if it's a cute story it's worth sharing. 'Course with me I just post lots of pics. :D That works too. :thumbs up (hint)

It's nice to hear that somebody has learned and appreciated what they've picked up from the board. Thank you for saying that! I know you didn't get anything from me personally because I am a doggy person, it's been years since I've had cats so I tend to stay out of the cat forums, but I think it must do the cat people good to hear that their help is appreciated. It is true that we need them every bit as much as they need us in the long run. And bless you and your son for deciding to volunteer at the shelter. Untold numbers of animals will benefit from your tender care. :grouphug:
