Hi,

Today, I noticed my 10 month old cairn terrier's lip discolor after returning from playing at backyard with my mom. her upper lip turned pink as shown in the attached photo. She did chew sticks and play soccer. did she get lip infection.

please advise

The only way to find out for sure what's going on, leeah, is to have a vet look at her. Is the area swollen?

Alice,

We are not vets, so it would probably be best to have him checked out by a vet to know for sure. It may not be swollen, but it has not returned to 'normal', and could be some sort of infection.

Best of luck!
