:wall::wall::wall: THE CONSERVATION AREA IS NOT YOUR BACKYARD. There are coyotes in the area (who always unfairly getting blamed for attacking dogs) and other wildlife, as well as dogs who do not appreciate your "friendly" dogs coming up in their face. There's also hikers who don't want dogs coming up to them. I don't care how "well trained" your dog is, you're not exempt from the leash law.
I went out for a walk there on Tyneside Trail and when I came back, I shot an email off to the city. I would normally call them but they are closed for the holidays. I also told them to adopt Calgary's model. Here's hoping something is done. This is a beautiful area and I love taking my dogs (who are always on a leash) there. I hope something is done.
