you all know me with the pincers, i have just noticed dakota 11 now , my old sr that was parillzed 6 yrs ago now diabect and blind is starting to loose some hair around his stubby tail, no sores no scratching, could this be with old age that he is lossing some hair??? brenda and the pins

Diabetes is associated with hair loss in hoomans Brenda I imagine it's the same with dawgies.

This http://www.petdiabetes.net/Health&Diet/Health-hairloss.html just says that it's common and is usually slowed down or stopped when the diabetes is under control.
But it does appear that alopecia can be caused by a number of illnesses.

ok going a little nuts here i will put in a call asap tom am to the vet its just a tad bit of hair missing, please tell me im not jumping the gun-, maby he is just getting old

Brenda ~ if it gives you peace of mind CALL. No harm, no foul right?
Given that he has no other symptoms ~ it likely is nothing to worry about. Age, a little stress ~ heck, even I'M losing hair !!! :D
