Poor Tommy... I was trying to surprise my hubby with a nice picture of the fur and skin kids. Tommy has absolutely no patience and Lili is extremely grabby so I knew I'd have to be fast, but I wasn't fast enough. She reached out and grabbed his ear and yanked:eek:! I thought oh no, that's it, as he reached around to snap at her... and instead of growling or snarking, like he would to me or hubby, he let out the loudest scream I've ever heard:eek::laughing:.
I really thought he would snap at her... I need to trust him more. I just love my boy:lovestruck:.
For anybody truly worried, they are never unsupervised... I protect the dog from the baby as well as vice versa.

That's adorable, you must be such a proud mommy!
We got our dog at seven years ago, and my father would always playfight and frolic with her in our yard, and she'd love it. So when our little sister came along, everyone was super worried about if her playfighting tendencies would come out around the baby and end up hurting her (we were certain no one else would get hurt, since she never bites, or nibbles or anything, but she loves to pounce on people to lick their faces, or to jump on them while they're turned away before running off, continuously looking back to see if she'd succeeded in getting you to chase her).
Amazingly, she never did anything of the sort around the baby. She's very high energy, but around my sister, she was like a kitten, stepping very carefully, and only giving sniffly, closed mouth kisses.
Must be another one of those awesome dog qualities, being sensitive to how delicate some things are :D
