funny place names

Found some interesting and funny names whilst studying my map before moving out here to SK but the Weather Network's website province listing had one that takes the cake and I didn't see it on my map. How about Southend Reindeer!!!:laughing: I guess they couldn't really call it Reindeer Butt!!!

We've got some other interesting ones...Eyebrow, Holdfast, and a few others I can\t remember.

What are some funny names from your part of the world? I would say Newfoundland has probably the best ones though

I think the States has some places that take the cake. Wish I could remember some off hand but I know I have seen some weird ones.
My home town of Owen Sound is said to be in the elephant's butt. If you look at an overhead of Georgian Bay it is shaped like an elephant. OS is right in that wonderful spot!! :rolleyes::laughing:
