November Nova Photos

Decided it's about time I posted new photos of Nova... I'm such a forum lurker! :o

November was an exciting month for us - we entered our first agility trial! Nova got her first qualifying round in jumpers, but we also had some set backs. She was afraid of the teeter at the trial and then couldn't distinguish the dog walk from it and wouldn't do either.. that fear has still continued on in our training classes, but I'm working with our trainer to get her to overcome it.

We also walked in our town's santa parade as part of the dog club promoting the new dog park. Nova looked like a maniac compared to the other dogs who were walking so nicely.. she was pulling and spinning in circles and trying to play with the other dogs the whole way. She stuck her nose in front of the camera crew recording and had her couple of seconds on TV.. :laughing:

But...um...I see her special talent there...:o...only I just can't quite figure out what that special talent is... :laughing: Looks like it's fun to watch, but does it have a name? :p

Um.. not at the moment :laughing: I just call it a talent to make Nova feel better about her face plant into the water. She hasn't quite figured out that the dynamics of jumping for a frisbee on land don't work quite the same in water. :D

That girl is certainly not lacking in personality! Her big grin and all the jumping and spinning around remind me so much of Chase.....if they ever met we'd be in trouble!

I haven't had any luck getting good photos of Cody recently.. silly boy always has his nose to the ground these days at the park! I'm going to work on getting some photos of him this week :D Nova is a camera hog, I swear she poses for me.. Cody takes some more convincing :rolleyes:

Yes I did :laughing: I have it saved on the PVR, not sure how I'm going to transfer it to the computer though. I could always just use my camcorder to record the tv, but not sure on how that will work. Worth a shot, anyway :thumbs up
