...thought you might enjoy a picture of Emma as a newly qualified pet visitation dog for PALS. She will be visiting people at an extended care facility here in Calgary plus if I have the time I’m hoping to take her on some special visits to some of the youth centers as well.
She totally aced the screening procedure which is quite intense and was even held up as an example of what the program is looking for in the dogs looking to join the program.
She is such a social butterfly I’m sure she will like visiting as much as the residents will love having her come. She also passed her intermediate obedience class. We have some work to do over the winter and I’m hoping to put her into an advanced course in the spring.
