Yes, there's more! My son brought Jay and Lenno home when they were dumped off at his store 8 years ago. We bottle fed both babies. We both love these boys but my son won out on taking them to his new home. They are very happy. They have a new puppy brother that they totally rule!
Above is Len
Below is Jay.

Jay is really looking old to me. Makes me sad.

Nice looking kitties! 8 is not that old for a cat. What are they eating?

Very handsome! I agree with Tundra_Queen though, 8 is still spring-chicken territory. Considering cats should technically be living into their 20s, they could still have many years ahead of them....

He has them on the same thing I have my three on. He has both on the wellness core, canned. He's had them on can food since he took them. They seem to be doing well.

I hope so, sugar. I told my son they are due for their vetting soon. They are such brothers. They absolutely love each other and they LOVE my son.

Those two boys are lovely, cute names. And yup, Jay's not old he just looks debonaire! Sorta like George Clooney!! My two cats both lived to 17 and 18 so Jay's a baby still.

Thanks everyone. I get over to see them once a week, sometimes two weeks go by. I sure miss them. When I walk in they are all over me. MOM!!! LOL.
When I was a kid my parents did not keep animals long. I had one dog that lived to be 12. But that poor animal had pups twice a year. After six weeks if they were not homed, they went to the pound. I had no idea at that age what was really going on. But it just makes me sick to think about it now. I mean, I was 5. The cats, all throw away animals. I don't ever remember one passing of old age.
Other then Rikus I've never had a cat die of old age. And we got him around 15 years old. So maybe I'm just not sure what a cat is suppose to be like at 8. Jay/Lenno has out lasted all the animals I had as a kid.

It's very hard for me to hold back when I see people with animals they treat as objects and not family members. I know this forum feels the same. I love it here :)
On that note, Sammy is sitting here with his paw on my hand as I type. Sammy has really adopted me as his human. He is such a loving cat.

My son said he thinks they have coon in them, too.
Rikus was very coon. I"ll have to get a pic of Rikus up.
