New kitten pics and dogs (may be slow to load)

Well I haven't posted any pics of the kittens for a long time. They're all doing well. I ended up having to supplement 2 of them with formula because their mom just wasn't keeping up. All the black kittens were getting most of the food; they're a lot bigger. It got to the point where they couldn't even all feed at once and the 2 smallest ones were just being pushed off, unable to feed. Those 2 are a little runty but overall they're very healthy.
All are weaned now and 3 months old. In 3 more months they can be fixed and find them homes, if I can bear to give them away. I'll probably keep the 2 smallest ones.
I dunno what is going on genetically with these guys but I think there were 2 dads or something because the 4 black ones are drastically different. They're fluffy and one of them is a beautiful black smoke color (grey highlights all over his fur and grey strips along the neck). The smallest one is grey and fluffy (and just not very attractive I hate to say lol. I need to get a picture of him). and the other 2 are black and white and grey and white with short hair.

Anyway, here's some pics.

The black smoke one:

All but one of them on my bed:

The little gray one was laying by himself in front of the space heater on their little bed. I'll get a pic of him in a few after they're done eating.

And here's a pic of 3 of my dogs, including the new puppy (who is much bigger now) in a circle with their rawhides.

Ah, ok. Here's the little grey kitten. His name is Lexington (after a WWII aircraft carrier nicknamed "The Blue Ghost")
He just ate and he's covered in food.

I dunno. I'm not all that worried about giving them away quickly. At worst I'll make a secure outdoor enclosure so they can go in and out.
I'm going to be very picky about who I give them to, so it may take awhile to find new owners. I think I'm going to make an adoption application type thing. I know of too many people around here that just want to get a kitten for their little kid or something. Luckily they won't be very small kittens when they get new homes though, so that should deter a lot of those type of people.

I also think he's cute but most people wouldn't think he was that attractive compared to the others. His fur goes every which way and his tail is all skinny and not fluffy like the rest of him, lol. It gives him character though.

They are so sweet. The tiny grey one is adorable! He may not have the best hairstyle but I would still pick him. :cloud9: Li'l Lex looks pretty content.
That's a lot of kitties for mom to have been feeding. You did good supplementing two of them. They all look pretty healthy to me. Thanks for caring so much!!!
(Careful about the keeping them all and building an enclosure. You'll have to change your name.:D)

It's not hard since the cuteness follows me around the house, lol.

Lexington likes to ride on our shoulders.

Lmao. I try to keep them out of there. It's bad enough that the puppy wants to follow me in and she creepily stares.

Everyone is so cute :lovestruck: How are the dogs getting along w/the puppy?

It is entirely possible (and it happens quite often) for there to be multiple dads in the kitten litter. The black & grey stripey ones & Lex have silvery tabby in them I can see the tabby markings including the M on the forehead - look closely at Lex it's there :cat:

I'm too busy keeping her from peeing in the house to take pics most of the time
When my husband is home I'll take some more pics since there will be someone else here to chase her around.
There were a few more pics of her in the Shasta update thread, but they're older.

Everyone is so cute How are the dogs getting along w/the puppy?

They all get along fine. Shasta is a grumpus but she'll play too sometimes. Mostly she just avoids Bheka, being old and wanting to relax and all. Walnut and Bheka play constantly. I wish I could get some video, maybe I'll put that on my list of things to do.
Rosco keeps to himself, as always.

That could just be from their mom. Mom's black but her own mother is a tabby. Her sister is a tabby, and has the M.

I know who one of the dad's to at least 2 of the kittens are. The black and white one and grey and white one are from a grey and white tom. I've seen other litters from him and they all come out looking the same.
The fluffy ones are definitely from another cat since he doesn't produce fluffy kittens. The last litter was from this female and him and they were all short haired. I intend to get him fixed when I bring all the male kittens in to have them fixed. There's a bunch of other tom's running around where he's at too though, so not sure how much it will help. And unfixed females keep being abandoned over there (at my family member's house). I can't afford to fix every cat in this region.

MBIE,I don't see any unattractive kittens:cat:only unique ones,LOVE them all:lovestruck::cloud9:

It's good you'll be choosy finding them homes,I don't think anyone I don't know would be good enough, except for members here.
So,you better get started on that enclosure:laughing:

I think it will be a big help to get at least one of the producing toms done :thumbs up. Is there any TNR or feral cat programs in your/your family member's area that you can contact for help with getting some/all of them fixed? :fingerscr

I wish. There was some woman supposed to open a spay neuter clinic next to our friend's pet store but I haven't heard anything about that lately, so I dunno what came of it . This area really needs something like that.

My vet is going to give us a large discount to get all of the kittens fixed, luckily.
