Frenchy October 29th, 2009, 08:07 PM My SIL's niece from the maritimes adopted this dog from an spca.... she's a mix and I see many breeds in her , but I was hoping someone would offer better opinions than mine :p she's about 3 months old. :lovestruck:
she got her at 3 weeks old  so .... don't know if the spca story is true but , doesn't matter , it's none of my bees wax :p
TwinTails October 29th, 2009, 08:26 PM There is deffinitely a few breeds in there :D I see Lab or one of the Retriever breeds, possibly Rotti, Shepherd. Looks like there may be some Saint in there (I know, weird, but she looks a lot like the Saint pups we had at the SPCA a few years back). She is certainly gorgeous! :lovestruck:
EDA: Ugh, not Saint, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog or Entelbucher.
babymomma October 29th, 2009, 08:26 PM Oh oh ! I see beagle eyes!!! Id say lab x beagle :)
t.pettet October 29th, 2009, 08:43 PM OMG that is one cute puppy. Rotti x.
14+kitties October 29th, 2009, 09:34 PM I see a lot of cute in her. :cloud9: A few different breeds as well. But three weeks? Seems a little unlikely.
Dee-O-Gee October 29th, 2009, 10:04 PM I have no idea but I sure know she's georgous! :cloud9:
O.K....what the heck is up with the snow????
TwinTails October 29th, 2009, 10:13 PM Hmm, I know some of the smaller SPCAs may not be equipped to hand rear orphans. Many will foster them out with volunteers or will adopt them out to people who have experience. However, this isn't always the case, and perhaps she just found a free puppy online (or the paper, etc). Whatever the case, I hope she raises her to know she is a dog and not a person (4 out of my 5 cats are bottle raised, and act like it!). She certainly is a pretty girl :flirt:
Gail P October 29th, 2009, 11:21 PM I think almost certainly some shepherd, and I think probably golden retriever. Something about the ears and face says golden to me. Then there's the dark "masking" (for lack of a better term) on the face that may be from the shep or maybe even collie? Maybe a GSD x retriever/collie. She sure is cute :lovestruck:
hazelrunpack October 29th, 2009, 11:36 PM Oh, I think she's a member of the Cute Dog breed. :D Cuz she sure is! (Cute, that is!) :flirt:
growler~GateKeeper October 30th, 2009, 12:09 AM Aww Fluffy Puppy Cuteness :lovestruck:
Marty11 October 30th, 2009, 09:52 AM Very sweet. Beagle, shepherd, border collie?
Chris21711 October 30th, 2009, 10:04 AM Looking at the first pic, I'd say she has some Shepherd by the way her back slopes...the rest cuteness overload :lovestruck:
We took care of Iggy and his sister from the age of 3 weeks, so it could be a similar situation.
catlover2 October 30th, 2009, 04:15 PM Awww! how cute can you get! What a lovely bright expression she has. I see Bernese Mountain dog in her because of white marking on chest and feet and the black & tan colouring but doesn't have white on her face, but who really knows? At 3 mos., she looks to me like she's going to be a big dog.
katb October 30th, 2009, 08:12 PM I agree with babymomma, beagle and lab. Really cute puppy!
Frenchy October 30th, 2009, 10:04 PM Thanks for all your opinions, she is a cutie pie :lovestruck:
I also saw beagle in her , I'm glad I'm not the only one :p
about the snow .... that's from about 3 weeks ago , they got 15 cms  we had some here too but it melted the next day.
