sorry took so long

hey everyone

sorry it took so long to do an update.

We did the biopsy in September. that went well. we didn't get good news though. The biopsy showed that his kidneys all have scar tissue. more then likely cause by his high blood pressure.

We've been meeting with lots of doctors and meeting the dialysis people. the doctor thinks he will be starting dialysis within a few months.

Its been a very rough couple weeks and i know they are only going to get rougher. he still hasn't found a job from being laid off in march. now i'm not sure what this is going to do in hopes of him finding a job.

his spirits are a bit up but not much. mine are going down everyday. his unemployment seems to have gotten cut. he says he's going to call to see whats going on. but now i'm worried i'm going to have to pick up a second job because his medical bills are already piling up.

i'm worried we're not going to be able to keep the cats. things were tight before this and its just getting worse.

i know i'm suppose to try to stay positive but everyday its just gets harder and harder.

sorry if this sounds all out of order. crying as i write it and i can't see well or think straight. miss everyone here.

I'm so sorry to hear about the test results. :grouphug:

Will your hubby have to be on dialysis forever? I remember when I was around 7 yr old my dad had to go on it. I was too young to understand anything at the time but he ended up getting better. I hope things will improve for you. :fingerscr :goodvibes:

I'm so sorry things are not going well right now. A bad economy and then illness on top of it is certainly a real rough patch to deal with. Keep your chin up, things will get better. :D

sorry to hear mww. we know someone here who is on dialysis and works during the day and at night hooks up to the machine at home so maybe that can be an option only by asking the docs will you know. as for medical bills ask the doctors if there is some medicaid or other places you can turn to to help out for now.

You say "you know you have to keep positive" and that the key to making this all work out. Take one step at a time and don't let everything bring you down all at once.

Be strong and have the faith! We're all thinking of you and send you :grouphug: :grouphug: :pray: :goodvibes::goodvibes:

Sorry to hear this bad news, but as everyone said things will look up! You just have to believe and say it to yourself everyday! :goodvibes: I've been reading up on the positive things prayer can do, so maybe try this: http://www.sylvia.org/home/prayerchainform.cfm Nothing to lose, can't hurt to try :)

My bf's mom has been on dialysis for awhile now and I believe December is when his sister will give her a kidney.

according to the dr he shouldn't need life long dialysis but he will need a transplant. his kidneys are all scar tissue which means it won't heal/its not reversible.

thank you everyone for the well wishes and hugs it means a lot.

today on another note we had vein mapping done. that went well. we went to the specialist for his kidneys and the good news is he stable at the moment. but he has some fluid moving into his lungs. so now he's on a water pill to try to help control that. thats a total of 7 meds he's on now. oyi!!!

Your hubby and mine can join forces. Mine is on about that many meds too. It sucks but we do what we have to to keep them going.
I will say a few extra :pray:ers for you and your hubby. I am sure you will find a way to get through this hurdle. You are a very strong young lady. :grouphug:
