October 2009 Photo Challenge - The Colours of Fall

It's Oct. 1 already - any suggestions for this month's challenge?

Costumes is an easy one...it's fun, it's been done, like a burger on a bun

any suggestions?

How about pets and pumpkins? I know we did that a few years back but there are lots of new members since then.

or to keep it simple we could just do the colour ORANGE. Then it could be used for fall leaves, pumpkins etc.

Here are a couple :D

First, not my personal kitty, but a cat that lives with my extended family. We named her Kit Kat ;)

Second, feral foster kittens Chicken Nugget (Nuggy) and Freddy (both girls). They warmed up very quickly to us, they were only 3 1/2 weeks old when we got them, so there was bottle feeding and all that goodness ;)

Last, but not least! My eldest cat, Majik, she always looks great in the fall :)

Ah how adorable TT. I love the black Kit Kat pic. She really pops out against the fall colors. :)

Majik's eyes are so mesmerizing! What a beautiful girl. :cloud9:

Hey cool finally a challenge I can actually do for once! Will try for some pics tomorrow since it will finally be sunny for a change and not foggy/raining.

LOL Rick - my husband has maintained for the 15 years we've had cats that they are actually from another planet and are here to observe the weird humans.....that photo of Polly staring up at the sky just confirms his suspicions! She's obviously communicating with the Mother Ship! :thumbs up

I'm hoping to get this year's this weekend if the weather will finally cooperate. The leaves just finally turned here for us in the last few days, but it's been nothing but rain!
