Those with more than 1 litter box

do your cats pee in one and poo in the other???

Its the weirdest thing, ive always noticed it. I have 3 litter boxes, 2 giant ones and one medium one. In one giant they pee only, in the other poo only and in the medium one its a mix.


I know its a bit of a weird question, but I'm just curious

it was particularly evident last night because when I got home from guelph i had a week's worth of litter to scoop :wall::wall::wall:

my little brother didnt scoop at all :yell:

My cats do their business in whatever box they want, but Oliver always poops in one and no others. We only have 1 box that is not covered, all others are (and I noticed he sits on the ledge to poop, not in the box like the other cats do).

I think I will be adding a couple more boxes soon, since the cooler weather is coming, we can put one on the balcony, and add another in the spare room.

My cats go both ways :D

Jasper pees in one and poos in another. All other cats don't care.

Duffy does both in the 1st box, the 2nd box she only uses if there's poop in the 1st
