Here is the Siamese momma, (blue or lilac point) and her UNBELIEVABLY beautiful kittens. She is such a good momma and loves her babies so much we would like her to be adopted with one of them.:)

How much is the adoption fee for the mama? My aunt and uncle live in Ottawa and used to have Siamese, perhaps I'll let them know ? wink

As I said, she is blind in one eye, but very very sweet and friendly and TINY! I'll PM you the adoption fee if your uncle is interested.

There are a couple people who have expressed interest in her, but they haven't been checked out yet, so I don't know if she is available but will know soon. Of course, she needs to be spayed, dewormed, de-flead and tested for FIV. That cannot be done until she recovers some strength, as she is extremely thin.
Here is a pic showing her injury:

Oh the poor girl :( she's very thin too!

She is a miracle kitty thats for sure. I'm waiting to hear back from Uncle John and when I do I'll let you know right away!

LR I have to ask, is she in any pain from that injury? :(

Lucky Rescue

The vet says she not in pain, there is no infection present either. She is a happy little girl and a very loving mom to her babies.:)

Just looking at it makes you wonder what happened to her....what a shame she has to suffer that way. But atleast she's not in pain and that makes me feel better.

It looks like mom is going to a new home with one of her babies, as soon as she is built up enough to be spayed. Don't have to worry about getting homes for beauties like these. :D

Itís great to hear the mom will go with one of her babies!!

I would have never guessed these kittens would have had a Siamese mummy!!

chico2

I am happy to hear that,I didn't think there would be too much trouble, maybe the two other kittens can go together too...like we say,two is always better than one.
This is why I would fail as fostermom,I would not trust anyone to be good enough to give them to :D I would be in a heap of trouble
The little Tortie seems to have a Siamese head, but it's hard to tell when they are so young, hopefully they have a regular cats meow.
My friend Roger(LR Caduck is now fine!)has 3 Siamese cats and 2 cat-cats,boy can they be vocal around dinner-time :D

Me too!! I have a very hard time giving up kittens I foster, especially the feral ones who have learned to trust me. :( If I could, I would keep all of them!!

Handing them to someone else is the hardest part of fostering.

I remember looking for a home for Vinnie,I was not planning on another cat,my vets doctor was interested in him.
The first words out of her mouth was"Does he scratch furniture? Oh well,I can have him declawed!!
That was it for me,I had another cat :D
LR,you know how I feel about the work you do,you are a kitty-cats guardian angel :p

Sadly, the potential home had to be refused, so Mom and all kittens are still in need of homes.

Because of her disability, momma needs a home with no dogs, other cats or kids under 5. We don't know if she is o.k. with other cats, but Siamese can be aggressive to other animals. A home who understands this breed is preferable!

Luba
August 22nd, 2004, 04:34 PM
oHhhhhhhh so I ate steak huh (well thats funny I usually never eat red meat so there HAHA)

Oh crap about the potential home LR< thats too bad!

Did I ever tell you my uncles siamese attacked me as a kid while I was sleeping. SCARED the beeejeepers outta me! Dug it's claws in my head, looking straight down into my face as I awoke in bed hissing and psychotic LMFHO

You can tell your uncle she is still available, and is very sweet with people, even after her ordeal and even with her babies there.:)

She is just too small and too vulnerable to risk putting her in a home where other animals may fight with her.

Ohhh I'm not sure he is animal free!! I'm still waiting to hear from him...I bet he went to Peterborough visiting. I'll keep trying though.
