Monty's Birthday :(

Tuesday September 8 was Monty's b-day....he would have been 15 years young.
Last year for his 14th b-day I got him a box of his favorite treats and he was so excited, he even got to open the box himself!
This year is so different. I would give anything to have him here with me so I could give him a hug for his 15th birthday.

September 18th will mark six months since Monty passed. I still can't believe it some days. I think about him and I can picture wrapping my arms around him for a hug...I can almost feel it. I miss him like crazy.

So I decided that I would still get him something for his birthday. I got a cute little stone for his grave. Here are some pics:

Awwww that is sooo sweet ! Where did you get that?? One of my dogs passed away a couple weeks ago. He was a 15 year old German Sheppard. I know how you feel :cry:

It has been a sad six months. I didn't think I could miss something so much. But I know he's in a better place. I thought the rock was just perfect when I seen it and had to get it. The pics would have been better but it was already dark outside when I got over to my parent's house and Monty's grave.

As for where I got it, there's a store in the mall around here called Things Engraved. It only cost me $25. I also found it on their website if anyone else is interested in getting one.
