You have already met Loki here:

I would like to introduce you all to Caesar, Sable, Fluffy, Kali and Pandora.

First is Caesar. He will be 7 on November 7 and is an Egyptian Mau/DSH cross that is black on top, but with completely white roots. The litter he was from consisted of only two kittens and we took them both. Sadly, his sister (who was white with dark spots and blue eyes) passed away last year due to low platelets. She had all kinds of tests, but the vet couldn't find anything wrong. The next step was seeing a specialist and doing a bone marrow test. She passed away before I could take her.

The first picture is of him with his lost twin sister.

This is Fluffy. She is 4 years old and is a domestic long hair. She was my grandfather’s cat. This was a stray cat that my grandfather took in when she was about 5 months old. I took her to the vet and got her shots and then got her spayed. She never went outside again. All my grandfather cared about was what would happen to her when he passed. I assured him that I would care for her and I’ve had her for about two years now. She is such a sweet girl and brought him such joy in the time they were together and I’m glad that they found each other. :)

This is Kali and we think she is about 2 years old. She was also a stray that Alen and I started to feed because she was so skinny (only 6.6 lbs the first time we took her to the vet). We later discovered that she had 5 kittens outside. We were surprised at how friendly she was for a stray and I assumed that she was once a housecat that was tossed out or abandoned for some reason, perhaps because she was pregnant. I had her tested for communicable diseases and she was negative (yay!) My mother took three kittens, a friend took another, but sadly the last disappeared before I could help him/her. I got Kali spayed and she’s never been out again. When she came in she went straight to the litterbox and didn’t panic to get out, which confirmed my theory that she was once a housecat that was discarded. She has a great home where she’s loved so everything worked out for this sweet little girl with a steel backbone.

Finally, this is Pandora and she’ll be 2 on November 7. Pandora is a White Shepherd. She's a gentle girl and takes a lot of flak from the puppy.

Sheri, what lovely furkids you have! You are an angel for giving Fluffy a home after your grandfather passed. I'm sure knowing his girl would be taken care of gave him a huge amount of peace.

I love that picture of Sable because it looks like the lioness statue has turned just to look at her.

But of course! Even the lioness recognizes royalty when she sees it! :D

LOL! Sable can sit in one place for a while and not even move a muscle. One time someone was at our house for the first time and Sable was sitting in the same spot as in the lioness picture. About 20 minutes after the person arrived, they jumped and said "THAT'S A CAT!" and pointed at Sable. Alen and I looked at each other, looked at him like he just lost his mind and slowly said "yeaaaahhhh". When the guy looked around he thought Sable was actually a statue and got startled when she finally moved.

LOL that's hilarious! Your furkids are beautiful, I looove white shepherds :lovestruck::lovestruck::lovestruck: And good for you for taking on you grandfather's "stray"...I hear so often that cats end up at shelters after their owners die, and are often brought in by their deceased owner's family members (how heartless!).

Beautiful furries. Very sweet. Each with his/her own special story. Good of you for rescuing all of them. :thumbs up
