Hey everyone, I'm interested in becoming a animal cruelty officer. I was going to go to college for vet tech, but I think this is truly what I want to do.
So could anynone tell me how exactly you become a animal cruelty officer/invetsigator? Is there any specific courses or anything like that?
Any info please!

Hi
I would contact a community college and ask them about courses. :)

It will depend on where you live. I would get into contact with your city and some animal cruelty officers to find out exactly what you need to do in your location. They may have a website or if nothing else your chamber of commerce/city hall/police department could probably lead you in the right direction. :thumbs up

Thanks guys, I did some research and I think i'll have to do a year of basic police foundations. Cause if you dont do any kind of policing school then you can't have any legal authority.

Maybe PM ACO22. I am sure you can get some info from her.
The other member who would be able to give you tons of info isn't on very often.
