foot casting ?

i am interested in making a shadow box dedicated to my doggie.
i would like to incorporate a fave pic of her in the middle with her cast paws in the corners.

has anyone else casted their pets paws? i have seen other shadow boxes of this sort and absolutely love them!

any suggestions or words of wisdom when it comes to casting dog's paws? (aside from ensuring it is non-toxic).

Hi, although I've never tried what you are asking about, I thought about those little hand castings for kids. I still have the one I made in kindergarten.
