Someone is peeing on my shorts!

I left them on the bathroom floor night before last and woke to find them urine stained.

The next night I left some again to see if there would be a repeat (I don't like using shorts, of course, but it's better than carpet or furniture) and yep - repeat.

Tonight I am either going to leave a towel and see what happens or lock one in the bedroom with me and see.

I have a cat that has early stages of CRF but this is 10 feet from her litter box.

The dog was checked out medically very recently, specifically urine and kidney tests.

We had a cat when I was growing up. Her name was poodums, :laughing:, yes I named her. She lived to be 30 and was the daintiest most beautiful pure white long hair I've ever seen. She did have a few bad habits.....she clawed holes into the back of every couch my parents had and if there were any clothes, towels or blankets left on the floor, she would pee on them. If they were in a basket or hamper she'd leave them alone, but if they were on the floor, they were fair game.

I thought about that one - guess these two pairs of shorts are gonners!

I have to lock the dog up because the cat has to get to her food/water/litter box. She will not like that! She likes to roam around looking our windows.

I don't know if it will tell me for sure because shorts in the bedroom are probably different than shorts in the bathroom.

That's why I thought of the towel in the place the shorts were first.

Then separate them the next night if the same thing happens.
