I'm going to school to get certified as a veterinary technician! I'm very excited! I start in the fall.. it's just at the community college but it's one of the best courses around. It's a 2 year program and I get to do all this cool stuff like dental stuff and farm animal studies.. at the end I have to take a state exam to get certified officially. It's not an easy course and I don't legally have to be certified in NJ but I just want to do it and get it done.

I feel like I have the odds for me in the program... I have this site, my shelter friends and just soo many people to talk to that there is no way I can fail, right? My teacher seems like she will be very nice :)

So yup I'm very excited but have a long 2 years ahead of me! It's kinda equivalent to having to get to vet school in a sense.. just half the time and for vet techs.

I'm just very excited!! My friend at the shelter said the exam at the end is sooo hard and you have to wait like 2 months to get the results... kinda like the end veterinary exam.

Eeek! Oh well. I think it's a plus to get certified though because it's not that long or horribly expensive so why the heck not? I start I think september 1st or something like that so whoooooooo:D
