Pet friendly locations in Niagra Falls, Ontario?

Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since I last visited, but I have been VERY BUSY with my new little guy.

Stark, the German Shepherd puppy I was so anxiously awaiting the last time I posted is here, settled and growing like a weed!

We are headed to Niagra Falls, Ontario this Tuesday and are bringing our pups with us (of course) and we are looking for fun things to do with them besides just walk around.

We have a place to stay (Sheraton on the falls is pet friendly, just FYI) but are looking for places to eat and things to do.

If you have any suggestions or know of anywhere, please let me know as I would greatly appreciate it!

Stark just turned 15 weeks old on Friday and is getting bigger every day. He is an amazing little guy. I thought I would include some photo's of him for those who remember me talking about him weeks ago.

The Capri has excellent Italian...and there is a Keg Steakhouse at the Embassy Suites Hotel on the 10th floor over looking the falls! Both good places!@

Do they allow dog? That is the issue we are having, we want somewhere we can bring the dogs along.

There is also a place called Chatters, a little off the tourist strip, but the food is always excellent, it's one of our family's favorite restaurants (owned by a local greek family). (it's near 5 corners, just ask at the hotel for directions) Many of the restaurants near the hotels have patios that you may be allowed to have the dogs, I'm not sure on that one though. A lot of the popular park areas here don't allow dogs or pets, and as I don't have a doggie yet, I can't really help ya there. The parkway is fair game though and there are lots of places to stop and play. Enjoy your vacation....and don't leave too much at the casino!!! ;):goodvibes:

We never really travelled with pets before because a lot of people don't like a 90lbs German Shepherd dining with them. But Stark is a little guy still and with him in training for Therapy and such I want to ensure he gets out in all types of environments. He goes with me EVERYWHERE pretty much.

I am sure we can find some places that allow pets on the patio but I am a OCD type person and need to plan every event out like clock work.. Hahaha..

My sister and I just want to get away for a day or so to relax before school starts up again in the fall. We will see how it goes.. Haha..
