Ok i am not all together done with Sis's new house, i still want to put a little curtain over the hole into her bedroom, but it still looks nice. :D

Oh, she's a diluted tortie! She's lovely! I like the new place. Do you have plans in the future of opening it up so Sis and Oggie would share it?

Aww, that's so sweet. Her and Oggie can see each other and visit. That is wonderful Edwina! You and your dad do a great job of building these little houses for the kitties. I'm sure they are quite comfy in there. :highfive::cloud9: Good job!!!

I would love to, but i dont think it will happen. When there like this they seem to be fine, but when there out on a leash together he wants to dominate and beat her up. So i think they will have to have wire between them.

We set out to make her bed the same size as oggies, i dont know what happen.

Sorry Jim i have to get more lumber.:laughing:

I love their logs they have to sit on and scratch. I put smaller pieces in with mine too so they can scratch. They love it! So nice of you to think of everything. :cloud9:

I'm gonna have to show these pictures to my mother. She wants to convert the unused dog run/enclosure into a outdoor room for the cats. She was unsure if she should put a cat in a cage outside, I told her that it would be a great idea and that lots of people do that for their cats.

This will show her that lots of people build enclosures for their cats to enjoy the great outdoors in safety!!

And...show her that the cats really enjoy it. Good Work!!!!

Yeah i am 'installing' a longer one in the corner in Oggies house tomorrow, i put another pillow and toy in his house today also. :)

I want to find some more small pillows to line the back of her bedroom for insulation. :D

You can buy the styrofoam insulation that does a great job. I have that in my cat house in between the walls. Also when I did the little beds I lined washbaskets with the insulation. If you can find that thermal emergency sheet anywhere near you that can go on top of the insulation. When kitty lies in their bed it all works as a natural insulator.
I think there is a thread about how to do that somewhere on here. Will have to look for it if you are interested at all.
The little pillows give it a "homey" touch. :cloud9:

Edwina, what's the story on Sis? If it's in another thread I missed it. Just wondered how you came to have her. And what about Oggie?

Sis was part of a litter from a cat my neihbor had , the mother got hit by a car, and i of course raised the kittens. Her 2 sisters (Blacky & Stripey Cheetah Pet) died a few years ago. Sis is 13 now. :)
Oggie was born the same year from a stray that had come in the area, we raised her ( she died last winter), and we raised her 2 boys Oggie & Booger, there sister Zuska was given to a friend of mine from across the state. :)

thanks for posting these links.....hubby is very impressed and will make a good shelter for any miscellaneous strays this winter. Or even for those winter days where Miss Mitten decides she needs a nap closer to the house. She does have shelter in the barn.:)

Yeah its kinda funny, i put sis out on a leash now when i am feeding her, and she comes running back in just as soon as i put her out. She seems to not want to leave her new house. :cloud9:
