I am Aggitated

Tonight a women stops by my work and asks if I am the dog lady.. I say yes.

Her: I have a Shih Tzu I want to get rid of.

Me: How old is it?

Her: 9 she will be 10 in November.

Me: Why do you want to get rid of her?

Her: We do not have the time for her, she is needy and clingy.

Me: You have had her from a puppy and now she is clingy? Have you had her vetted?

Her: no

me: If you choose to surrender you dog to me, you will have to submit a vet report, stating a senior blood panel, urine and fecal sample has been done, dental and all needles need to be up to date. A 10 year old dog, not used to being around kids is almost impossible to re-home.

Let me get this right. You just no longer have time for her and she is healthy?

Her: well i work nights and she wakes me up during the day with her whining.

Her: If I get all that work on her done, will you take her?

Me: Sigh.....Yes :wall::wall::wall::wall:

I am so pissed. had her baby for 10 years and no longer wants her..That baby is going to be so confused. But on a good note, I already have a home for her. I get so damned depressed, so many babies, so little space.

Ok vent over...

That story rings a bell :frustrated:

..That baby is going to be so confused.

no no , don't worry , they usually adapt quickly .... Chloe was 12 last year whe I adopted her , she spent all her life with those people .... then got here and took about 24 hours to get settled in :thumbs up

thank YOU for saving yet , another poor soul !

Oh, if the tables were turned and animals could say "I have an owner I want to get rid of. She has no time for me. Why should I give her my loyalty?" How would our world be different?
Thank you Shaykeija for once again being an angel for these dogs. You do a great job of finding homes for them all. :thumbs up

Personally If I was this dog, I would pee in her shoes, probably a little difficult but well worth it. Especially if she had leather shoes, she could never get them clean  .

Anyways, I agree with Frenchy the baby will probably adapt quickly. Also,if that's how this lady returns 10 years of loyalty, the Dog is probably better off.

I think the poor little thing will probably adapt well. I'm sure she gets no attention other than getting yelled at and told to shut up, don't you think?

The poor baby will most likely be thrilled to be in a home where someone speaks to her in a loving voice, pets her and treats her with a little love and respect.

I think this poor little dog will think she's in heaven going to a home that really wants her, people with a heart and compassion, something sorely lacking in the former owner,
Peeing in her shoes, pooping on her bed and some nice up-chuck on an expensive carpet would be very appropriate good-bye gifts:laughing:
Thank's Shaykeija:grouphug:

Edwina, you must be a Buffy fan.:D

Shaykeija, you are very kind to take this dog. I just cannot wrap my brain around someone having a dog/cat for that long and just decide to get rid of them so easily.
