Another curious poop/pee issue...

So sometimes when we are walking with my 8mo puppy, she suddenly out of nowhere sits down and starts pooping. This happened twice this morning on our way to the store, and one pee on the pavement (out of nowhere) on our way back.

What is this about? She hold it in pretty well, and we take her out 2-4 times a day for reliefs, but sometimes she is suddenly in need to poop right now and i mean 2 seconds ago and not now. It is a bit embarrasing.. :D

I wonder if we in that situation for example didnt stop enough for reliefs on our walk, but it is a bit weird still...

I've heard that it's a dog's basic instinct to investigate and turn around the place they're going to pee and poop, but many dogs lose this as they feel very safe all the time and precaution becomes unnecessary. Is it true?

one of my dogs has a serious issue on this. She can even poop on the way we come across a road. It's frightening.
