While trying to find the owner of a lost bunny, what on earth should my SIL be feeding it besides carrots? The poor thing is going to turn orange soon
See http://www.pets.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=63584 for explanation.

I'm not an expert but when I was thinking about getting a Rabbit I found this link to be helpful, it was pretty much the same thing that a lady at the shelter told me .

Edit: I think your SIL is super sweet to be looking out for this Bun bun *HUGS* .

Thanks for the link MommaKat! :thumbs up
I just hope this was an accident and he/she has a good home (and hope we can find it). Otherwise we have one gigantic orphaned rabbit to find a home for!

He is one big BUN for sure Chase Mom, he looks adorable :lovestruck:
I feed Daisy the following: Any type of greens, romaine lettuce (must be romaine), broccoli, cauliflower greens, collards etc., she loves banana (she gets 1/2 per day), apple, carrots, she loves dandelion leaves (no shortage at my house ), timothy hay (right now I pick it fresh from the farmer next door) and rabbit pellets. She gets her water in a dish not a bottle thingy.
Good Luck to your SIL in finding the owner.
Almost forgot she loves baby spinach....

the also love the green tops of the carrots, they are actually better for them then the orange part, anything green is good, they need hay, and u could pick up a pack of pellets for pretty cheap if u just got a small bag.. good luck finding the owners! I just love bunnies!
