Elephants are so clever!

While shopping the yesterday, a little girl at the checkout with her mom started chatting me up, she shared the following elephant facts that I found most interesting!;)

Littlegirl: Did you know that elephants paint their toenails red and hide in cherry trees to hide from hunters?

Me: :eek: Really? Wow, that's interesting!

Littlegirl: Have you ever seen an elephant in a cherry tree?

Me: Nope can't say I have.

Littlegirl: (laughing at me by this point), "see, it works don't it!"

Of course I laughed too, and the little giggled.

I came home to tell my family the joke, and of course like most jokes, I was apparently the only person that hadn't heard this one before.:frustrated:

I had to hear it from some adorable little girl in a checkout line:o

I told my 10 year old that joke....I won't tell you his reaction...but enough to say..I looked like an idiot...Elephant looked great:D...but I looked like an idiot..:loser:

I was reading it thinking the girl was being serious.. And i kept thinking.. Where do the elephants get the paint me=:loser:

haha, now that i understand its a joke, it is quite hilarious..

lol Babymomma, at first I thought she was being serious too, wondering who is filling this childs head with such silliness...then when the punchline came ...well I felt rather..umm...silly myself.:laughing:
