Thanks everybody.

It is Rosebud, she is a girl.

It was quite a chore getting Rose into the carrier. How do you do it cpietra???????

No, the vet's policy is to stay overnight, which I personally have a problem with because there is no supervision after 5 PM so if something happens, then there is nobody to give/take for emergency medical treatment.

THEY ARE DONE!

Got a call, they want Rose out of there this afternoon :o Something about not being able to get Rose into the carrier after she wakes up so they are putting her directly into the carrier after surgery. Guess it was a lot of trouble getting her out of it. And I told Rose not to hurt the vet, guess she didn't listen :o :o

Maybe they needed Badger to help, she had no problem getting Rose out of one carrier and into another when I picked up Rose at Frenchy's house. :p

Hmmmmm, if I could have put some raw chicken in, I would have gotten her in, but couldn't do that if she is going to surgery. I think it will be almost impossible to ever get her in again.:yell: :frustrated: .

If there was anyway I could keep Rose I would. I think she is going to make a wonderful, loving cat. But with Puddles and Sweet Pea is just is not possible.

I'm glad Rose is okay. It's too bad they can't all get along. I think Rose would be such a wonderful addition to your little gang.

I do too. In fact, I think I would become extremely close to Rose, almost "Snowball" close

Rose won't come out from under the bed except to eat. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

You just never know. I remember a certain stray who I never thought would fit in.

Happy to hear everything went well for Rose & Rosebud :goodvibes:

Did you get to see Rosebud before bringing Rose home? :goodvibes:

She'll come out soon, she's just over stressed - probably will be very happy to hear Jasper on the other side of the door tonight. :cat:

OMG, AG, I have never seen that pic :cloud9: :lovestruck: :cloud9: :lovestruck:.

Sweet Pea is really the problem. She is extremely aggressive towards Puddles and lately she has been sitting outside of Rose's room hissing her head off.

They are both at home, settled back in. No Jasper visits last night or play time, I wanted them to stay quiet. Tonight Jasper will be allowed in. This morning, I allowed them to see each other by opening her door a bit because Jasper wouldn't stop meowing outside her door :yell:

OMG,Jasper is in love,he can't wait to see what the evil vet did to Rose:lovestruck:
I guess Sweet Pea and Puddles have no problem with Jasper??
I think you should have had more males:laughing:but males don't have kittens.
The fact you are comparing Rose to Snowball is a huge compliment to Rose.
Could you not keep on fostering Rose, until someone comes along for her?

Love4himies

I don't think I would be doing Rose or Rosebud justice to keep fostering.

Rosebud needs to be seperated from her mom so she learns that human laps are friendly and being picked up is good. Right now she follows everything her mom does and thinks humans are for play and for providing food. I need to get her used to cuddling us too.

Rose needs to have access to many humans not just me and my husband and she craves attention from other cats (nice Jasper cats that is) and she will get that from the humane society.

Both Puddles and Sweet Pea adore Jasper.:cloud9:

I think unlike her mom, Rose has a great chance of turning over a new leaf and become use to humans and let them cuddle with her.
I wish I had as much luck as you did:sad: I still can;t believe I lost her....I keep hoping that someone will see her. I'll get my cousin to come over and walk the "beat" with me....hoping she will recognize her voice.
