7 month old Cupido
lor May 21st, 2009, 12:58 PM What a gorgeous cat.
I'm sure my missing kitty Grace is primarly a Maine coon, there are a lot of similar features:
catlover2 May 21st, 2009, 01:11 PM Looks Maine Coonish. Looks like he's going to be a BIG cat. His coat is quite unusual, a brown ticked tabby. His face and eye expression reminds me a bit of a Pixie-Bob who have somewhat similar colouring and do come in longhair as well as shorthair, but have a stubby tail. I bet Cupido's a big suck! :cat:

dmc123 May 21st, 2009, 06:54 PM wow, I was told Cody was part manx, but after seeing both shown here, wow, he looks like an older twin!

elisabeth_85 May 30th, 2009, 06:46 PM I actually have a 9 month old Maine Coon male.
He has all of the crazy antics (he is part dog and part trouble maker) of the maine coon and the beautiful physical characteristics as well, including a beautiful tail.. He is still growing as these cats do not fully mature both mentally and physcially until they are around 2-3 years old.
8.5 weeks old.

**I will try to get a few more this week as his "Maine" is coming in nicely, although at the moment he is shedding like crazy!
lor May 31st, 2009, 04:04 PM Awww what a cutie!
I'm more and more convinced that our Grace has Maine Coon mixed in, there are so many similarities to the cats pictured here.
Here is a shot of her snuggling up with daddy after being missing for almost 2 weeks...she's very happy to be home!

elisabeth_85 June 1st, 2009, 04:03 PM My little guy who will be 10 months old on the 10th of June just weighed in at 14lbs.
His sister who is 5 years old on the 23rd of June has weighed 9lbs for a good few years.
Dexter, the Maine Coon is all muscle and is really lean, heavy boy, but in great shape.. it surprises me when I pick him up then pick up his sister, such a weight difference!!!
*All your cats are beautiful!
quincymycat June 18th, 2009, 02:59 PM First time I tried this so I am not too sure if it will work for me or not - I am really not that "techy".
Thought I would try to post pics of three of my guys, the three Maine Coons.
Quincy is the brown tabby, he is about 23 pounds, Milo is the red tabby, he is about 19 pounds, the real light weight in the Maine Coon group, and the silver and white guy is Tritan who is about 22 pounds.
I also have a seal point Ragdoll but he is not in this bunch of photos. If this works for me, I'll try again.
quincymycat June 18th, 2009, 03:05 PM It worked!!!:lightbulb:
The little Ragdoll is Dakota.
chico2 June 18th, 2009, 04:39 PM OMG,OMG soo many beautiful cats,my absolute favorite cats are the Maine Coons.

chico2 November 29th, 2009, 08:07 AM HH,your Dylan too is beautiful,looks a little skinny for a Maine Coon,but maybe it's just because he's stretched out,still gorgeous:lovestruck:

He's always been slightly on the lean side for a Maine coon but his weight/size proportions have always been pretty ideal I have been told. His two younger brothers keep him VERY active which perhaps helps and he does like a good stretch :D
pattymac December 1st, 2009, 12:13 AM I'm really thinking that my next kitty will be another Maine Coon. I don't think Coco is a pure Coon cause he mats soooo easily. Nino got a few tiny mats but that's all I've ever seen on him and they were easy to snip out, he really doesn't like to be brushed. Wow Dylan could be Nino's brother!!! They're even the same age!!
scipio December 18th, 2009, 10:56 AM Quicymycat your cats are so pretty. I just got a point seal raggie kitten, as a companion to a point lynx raggie kitten I got a few months earlier. I think my point seal is going to look like your ragdoll, they have the same facial markings. The only problem now is trying to get my point seal raggie to get along with the alpha male cat of the house (who is a maine coon).

Thank you scipio, I am rather proud of my guys too. My MC's are big sucky babes though, the Rag can kick their butts any time he chooses. I just today added another to the household, number 5 is a female, my first female kitty, rescued from my yard. A tiny little tuxedo kitty. Now we shall see who will rule the roost. Dakota may have met his match in a woman!
chico2 December 18th, 2009, 03:47 PM QMC,Although I am just stunned over all these magnificent cats, you know you'll have to post pics of the rescue too....by the way, thank you for taking the little Tuxedo of the streets.
I am sure she'll hold her own with your 3 big cats:laughing:
quincymycat December 18th, 2009, 03:56 PM Thank you Chico, but I only did what was supposed to be I guess. Pictures will be coming as soon as she settles down a bit more.
Right now, when I opened the kennel door to give her some loving, she bolted and eventually ended up in one of the spare rooms. I will let her be for now, put a litter pan and food in there with her and hope she clams down a bit.
Problem is though, Quincy knows how to open doors. I have those handle type knobs and not round ones so he has already opened the door himself twice. I have to stuff something in the door to jam it or she will not be alone for long! :yell:
echoica December 22nd, 2009, 08:47 PM Here's my Maine Coon, Riley (almost 4 years old now)...I got him from rescue after they shut down a cattery.
