Our three dogs are eating a holistic kibble for seniors. Overall, we are pleased with this formula, except for our American Cocker, Daisy. Since making the switch, Daisy has developed chronic soft stools. The other two dogs are fine. The fibre in the senior formula is 2%. The previous adult maintenance diet was 3% fibre. Lately, Daisy has been "scooting" which tells us that her anal glans are starting to "back up." A firmer stool will resolve this. Daisy refuses canned pumpkin. What other fibre supplements are recommended for dogs? Thanks for your suggestions!

We actually used the granular, unflavored Metamucil for one of our dogs. Just sprinkle a little of it over her food--start out with maybe a teaspoon and work up from there till you get the desired result.
