Pickles and the babies

Well, we have been feeding a stray cat in our neighbourhood that we named Pickles - we encountered her when she was just a kitten in August, and she spent Mother's day having her own kittens in our garage.. Only two out of the three kittens made it,. :sad: We've nicknamed them Gherkin and Dill. (get it? get it?)

These really aren't the best pics, but they were the best I could do at the time - more to follow!

Right after Gherkin was born (he/she was almost born on my foot!)

and here's one of the two kittens - Gherkin and Dill. Again, I'll take better pics soon.. Pickles is very open to us going near them and touching them, so that's a plus! She keeps them in a drawer in our garage - we close it when we're not in there to give them some privacy :)

And I love the names too!

They are super cute.. right now the orange one is Gherkin and the black one is Dill. The names might change - but I'm glad you like them :laughing:

I'll try and take a few more tonight now that they are a little more mobile - their eyes haven't opened yet, but my FH is already convinced that they are both boys.. I think it's too early to tell, but whatever :rolleyes:

Aw those pics and vid clip are just so cute!! Laughed when I saw the wee bear leg/paw!! Love the wee toty kitties names. Mummy cat is gorgeous.
