I just started working part-time at the SPCA in my area, located in Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. This shelter is a no-kill shelter.
I just wanted to get the word out there, for people who did not know about them. It is a wonderful shelter. The employees, volunteers, and especially the animals are fantastic.
There is an abundance of animals wanting a loving home, and although they are not free, the fees cover vaccinations, deworming, and most importantly they all leave the shelter operated (spay/neuter).
I don't mind sharing any info if anyone is interested, and I will post their link below.
There are dogs and cats of all ages and sizes looking for homes.
I also wanted to mention that their annual Gimme Shelter fundraiser is this saturday, May 2. see the SPCA Laurentides-Labelle web-site for more information.
