This is Magic's first spring with us as a "grown" dog. Last spring/summer we would always go out with her in the backyard and clean up her poop right away. Then in the winter, we just let her go out on her own. Now spring is here and we now have a problem with our backyard being her own huge toilet! (Our own fault, I know!)
So...how can we train her to go in a certain spot outside? Any suggestions?? Thanks!!

umm... why does she need to go in one spot? Why not just let her go where she wants, and clean it up every week or so?

Because my kids - and their friends - play back there. We'd like to enjoy our yard as well without having to watch out for land mines.

Take her to the designated spot (on leash) and wait till she goes? Might be pretty time consuming and no guarantees she would go in that area when left to her own devices. Perhaps by going for a walk twice a day doing her jobs on those or cleaning up your yard every day.
