W4R,I just noticed your post now and yes it's sad and scary,I love Myrtle Beach.
We were at the park with the Bald Eagles and other birds,there was especially one bald Eagle who only had one wing,I hope they were able to rescue some of the birds at least:pray:
I think the fire did not reach South Myrtle Beach where we go,it was mostly North Myrtle Beach,but that's bad enough,I can't help thinking of all the animals,people who lost their homes etc...I am terrified of fire!!
