To be alone . . . . .

Earlier today, Keeper alone in the vastness . . . . . the backside of Upper Kananaskis Lake in southwestern Alberta

Below, Keeper . . . . . . alone, but COOL!!! I was walking in a t-shirt in this place by the time we started our return trek, believe it or not. It got rather toasty here after starting out at minus 3 Celcius.

Below, Abby and Keeper, definitely not alone. They were thrilled to walk in a place where they didn't sink up to their hips in snow. This is wind-blown, hard-packed by thawing and freezing as well. In a few months, this will be ice-free.

Below, some modest sign of Spring . . . .?

Below, Keeper's hair has grown back after her three cancer related operations in the Fall.

Below, Keeper ambles through an old forest, cut down many years ago to make way for the lake. A dam here helps supply part of Calgary's drinking water.
