A Vinegar solution? that would be my thought.

Just plain ole binegar put on a sponge or something..I thought someone said vinegar,alchohol.thats all i remember

hmm. I wouldnt use alcohol. try Vinegar and water mix and a sponge.

For carpets, wash with mild detergent first (laundry soap is good but make sure there's no bleach in it) and rinse well. Let dry. Then, 1 cup water, 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1/4 cup alcohol in a spritz bottle and spray. Blot excess moisture and let dry.
