yup... it's our most favourite toy ever!!!! (figures... why play with the 30$ toy when he can play with 1$ one) and it also means summer's here when the coconut comes out so double yay... :D

Ah the friend... I'm going back and forth on this one.. there's an 8 yr old staffie or staffie mix at the spca right now that kinda caught my eye (and broke my heart... 8 freaking yrs old... wtf is she doing there) he's not the super friendly type but she seems smaller than him and she's a female... i keep thinking about going there and having them meet.... :wall: here she is : http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=12944285

my schedule is still screwy though so i keep thinking how to keep them separated and contained when i'm not there to keep an eye on them...

sorry for the ramble but it has been on my mind for a while...

hehe... that's what i think too but i might be a teensy weensy bit biased... and best of all he enjoys all the attention and all the hugs and kisses (actually requires a certain amount of them to get out of bed... i have created a monster!!!! )

What a handsome boy! The girl in the photo's is a cutie. It would be nice if you could have them meet to see if they get along. I agree, wtf is she doing at a shelter at 8 years old?:frustrated:

That older girl is also on their foster page as a potential long term foster
http://foyerdaccueil.blogspot.com/
I'm not sure how the foster program works at the SPCA here, as far as i understand you have to pay for their supplies and to go to the vet with them (it is discounted) I think they do this with the older dogs to encourage people to take them and get them into a home but many people are worried about he health coverage of older animals so they offer $5 vet visits to the shelter clinic. Correct me if I'm wrong, that's what I understood from the info I read.

does you guy actually eat the coconut open? I love coconut their fun haha, good floss too if you get a hairy one!

Me, either...but considering how my modem and photobucket don't get along, likely I wouldn't have been able to see them, anyway! :frustrated:

So I'll just settle for a verbal discription and hazel's imagination...squishy, eh? :cloud9: Awesomely handsome? :flirt: I'm imagining 'absolutely adorable'! :D

I am so glad everything is going very well for your boy, I remember how excited you were waiting for him.
I have met brownie, and yes she will break your heart, she is such a doll and deserves so much.

Ah crap... i was already thinking about dropping by this week-end .... i keep wondering how to keep them separated when i'm not at home...
the crate would be useful at first and for a couple of hours but at 8 yrs of age i find she deserves to spend the day in more comfort than that... first things first though... let's see if the princess likes her...

and btw the excitement of 3 yrs ago has given way to joy, contentment and wonder (well a lil bit of frustration too but then i just squish the face lol)
