Hi ....I am new to your site and have a question.
I have a new 2 year old fawn boxer...I took from a pound and think he has been mistreated along the way...She was a breeder but couldn't produce.
She is very afraid of everyone and everything...but coming around slowly.

My question is that she is shedding like crazy...Could this be nerves..what can I do if anything

Dogs do seem to shed more when they're under stress, and if she's still getting used to her new home, that could well be the problem. A high-quality diet can help minimize shedding. Do you brush her every day? That can help, too, plus it gives you great bonding opportunities if she likes to be brushed.
