I thought I would post a new thread I came across with information specifically concerning Orijen's meat, where it comes from and how it is rendered. These questions were on another forum when I searched and the questions are answered by Peter Mulhlenfeld. Hopefully the link can be viewed because I had to become a member to view them myself - if not I will have to cut and paste each individual post.
I am editing this - added the individual links below to prevent confusion.

It looked like the actual article was from 2003. I'm not sure how relevant the info would be now, but I'm sure Peter would respond to another question about it if asked.

Here is a link to Orijen's White Paper. Make of it what you will.
It contains grain-fed chicken, eggs and whitefish (regular dog).
Orijen six-fish contains...well...fish and no chicken.
Not sure what the OP is getting at, as I could only read the first sentence of the posts from the original link.
At any rate, I've called and talked to them about their food. They're very open and willing to discuss what goes into their kibble.

I agree that their kibble is good quality - that is why I am posting this.
The first one is from 2003 but the last 3 or 4 are from Jan. 2008.
I'll try to add them individually and hope they work:
