We were both too sick to enjoy much of anything besides soup over the holidays, we were feeling a litte ripped off. I like to cook a turkey every 6 weeks or so, and really had a hankering for it. DH loves turkey, so I bought one on Saturday and it's stuffed and in the oven smelling heavenly right now.
Should pretty much guarantee a good nights sleep. Nothing can make you sleep better than a turkey dinner.
OOOh, almost forgot, that means turkey sandwiches for my lunch at work tomorrow too. Bonus....:thumbs up

Now you've got me drooling. http://bestsmileys.com/bouncing/6.gif How convenient that you had the hankering--just in time for a celebratory meal! All ya need is the champagne! :D

That would have been a good idea, except I don't drink. Other than the odd shot of Baileys in my coffee from time to time. DH will have to settle for one of his beers with his dinner. :yuck: I'll never understand how anyone can drink that stuff. :yuck:

I do the turkey thing all through out the year too. It's just not for thanksgiving.
I like turkey better than chicken and I love leftovers!

Now I have to go bird shopping.
