help with barking!!!

My pup Cotton is 6 months Maltipoo and healthy. However she loves to bark at people NON-STOP when I walk her. When She is at home, she will only bark at strange noise or doorbell...etc. But outside the house, she just goes crazy. I've tried to distract her by asking her to sit and giving her treats/praises for sitting and not barking, but the second her bum is off the ground she's at it. I've tried the walking opposite way, she'll find something new to bark at. I'v tried the NO, quiet, shhhh, no barking command. Nothing seems to work. I walk her at the same park everyday, she gets regular exercise and lots of positive attention. I dont know what else to do:shrug: Anybody got any suggestions.

Have you been to a professional dog trainer ?

I mean no disrespect. The grrrl's and The Boy have had problems along the way and I thought I was doing everything right and "by the book". I thought," I've had animals for most of my life, what's the problem here? "

 Iit took an "outsider looking in" to tell me what I was actually telling my dogs.

It was an invaluable experience for me. I learned then, and continue to learn I hope, about my relationship with my dawgs.
