LCBacia January 19th, 2009, 09:44 PM Hey! Sorry if this is the wrong place to post...
Every week when I go grocery shopping I pass these Condo's and this guy is always out walking the most adorable looking dog and I was just curious if anybody could help me out knowing what it might be?
It basically looks like a small version (tea cup!) of a cocker spaniel. It has the length hair and super cute ears. It's white with orange/light brown patches. I don't know how else to describe it other than c-u-t-e! lol
I'm just curious in a breed name, I have no intensions on getting one lol
lUvMyLaB<3 January 19th, 2009, 10:06 PM could it be a caveleir king charles spaniel? a feild spaniel? there are lotsa spaniels... I dunno!!! :)
growler~GateKeeper January 20th, 2009, 01:06 AM Does it look like this: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/cavalierkingcharlesspaniel.htm?
babymomma January 20th, 2009, 06:31 AM lol.. Just thought i would throw in the fact that there is NO such thing as a tea cup doog in ANY breed. Its a word that BYBS and Puppy mills use to get more money for the runts that are more likely to have health isssues.. :pawprint:

Oh sorry. It's just the word that came to mind, I was trying to say it's really little because I know there is such a thing as a mini cocker and it's smaller than that.
Actually I think you guys are right on it, except it does seem a little big, but maybe the dog I'm seeing is a puppy?
I don't know but the Cavalier king is extremely close and adorable :lovestruck:
Thank you!
babymomma January 20th, 2009, 03:44 PM lol.. No problem, Its just one of my pet peeves.
It may still be a puppy. It could be mixed with a smaller breed dog. Have you approahed the guy with the dog and compliment it? Maybe just kindly ask what breed he is:shrug:
LCBacia January 20th, 2009, 04:09 PM Well I'm literally driving by every time I see him, but you don't know how close I am to just rolling down the window lol
Ehh I just needed a close enough breed because I don't know dog breeds to save my life. I rate them by cute, extra cute, and flippin adorable. It's the scientific abbreviations.

:laughing:just ask the owner if they mind if you take a picture of the pup.then we can see the pup and it be easier to tell.

I bet if you go to your local spca/shelter to adopt you will find lots that fit that description. :thumbs up
coppperbelle January 20th, 2009, 06:32 PM Could it be a Papillon?
Chaser January 20th, 2009, 06:40 PM Could it be a Papillon?
That's my guess too....they have "super cute ears" :D

catlover2 January 21st, 2009, 12:51 PM Rather than the usual "butterfly" Papillon, maybe it's a Papillon Phalene (moth ear)?

or a Cavachon? (Cavalier x Bichon Frise)
