Just wondering...

As most of you know, Annie was spayed on Tuesday. I was thinking of possible taking her to my mom and dads this weekend (the farm). Anyway, I wouldnt let her run wild outside, but she does play constantly with Maddie. I am not sure if this would be too much activity for proper healing? The incision itself is healing really well, it is the layers underneath I am worried about. I am pretty sure since I am concerned that this is probably too much...but I wanted other opinions. And yes, I could keep them seperate the whole time, but this seems awfully unfair to Maddie.

Spaying is major surgery and healing takes time. It may be unfair to Annie if she can't play with her friend, but it would be a lot MORE unfair if her stitches tore or she got an infection in her incision. She needs to be kept relatively quiet for around 10 days.

She won't die if she waits another week for playtime.:) Always better to be safe than sorry!
