Finally, some "Sparky in the snow"!

January 7th, 2009, 10:17 PM we got hammered with a nice snow storm...wouldn't you guess, Sparky LOVES IT!

1. I spy with my little eye...a dog across the street! LOL he was mesmerized, so he sat in the snow and would not move. I was afraid he was gonna have something fall off if he stays there, so I pretended to walk towards the doggie...

2. Who needs a snow removal, when you have such a great plow!?

3. OOOOOOH! Snowwwwies! (please ignore my crazy-colored pants) be continued...

4. so it didn't work to try and pretend, we HAD to say hello to our friend Roxy...who pretty much tried to sit on us and smother us with luv

5. TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETH!!!! (yey, my first teethy pic!)

6. This is a disaster! Thats what happens if you get carried away sniffin the snow!

:cloud9: Man, he just doesn't lose his cuteness. I especially love the first pictures on him in the snow just waiting and watching the other dog.

Sparky's too cute :lovestruck:. I love the second pic of him with Roxy.

Does he get those hard little snow balls stuck to his fur too?

Thanks everyone!
Sparky is a mix Westie, probably with a Maltese.
He does get there little snow balls everywhere...Till now, I just put him in the tub and wash them away, then blow dry him. Is there any other way to deal with them? LOL I tried putting a coat on him, but he gets the snow in anyway...

Aw, he's just a little furball!! He gets floofier every time I see him! :flirt:

And he looks like he has great fun in the snow! Do he and Roxy get to play often? :cloud9: Roxy has a great advantage when it comes to ice balls in the fur--I'll bet she doesn't get any!

We just let the snowballs melt, then comb them out the fur when it dries--we have some dry skin problems in the winter so we don't bathe or blowdry them. We sometimes get some monster puddles from fur thaw in the living room, though. :p

Frenchy, thats the boxer pup that is about the same age as Sparky...remember, her owner got rid of his little doggie to get Roxy "for protection"...LOL...the only thing she can do to "protect" him is pretty much what she did to Sparky - pin him down and SLOBBERRRRRR !!!!!!
